This key role offers the opportunity to lead and support our dedicated Administration Team, while also staying actively involved in the day-to-day administrative operations. As the first point of contact for many, you will ensure that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering a high standard of service to all who interact with CCS Disability Action.

Why us?

  • We have a positive workplace culture that values employee wellbeing and work-life balance. As such, we have a range of initiatives to foster a positive work environment and support our employees. These include:

  • A friendly and values-based environment where you can make a positive impact.

  • Receive access to our Employee Assistance Programme, providing free and confidential counselling and support.

  • Access our employee benefits programme and a paid day of wellness leave each year.

About the role:

As the Senior Lead Administrator for our Auckland Branch, you will be responsible for both managing and supporting the Administration Team while actively contributing to the delivery of top-quality administrative services. In this dynamic role, you will lead and guide the team to ensure that the Auckland office operates smoothly and continues to provide exceptional service to all internal and external stakeholders. You will also play a key part in maintaining the high standards of our reception, fleet management, property management, and health and safety functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing and mentoring the Northern Region Administration Team, which includes a Reception Administrator, Business Support Administrator, and Total Mobility Coordinator.

  • Leading by example, as you will still be involved in front-line administrative tasks such as handling customer inquiries, booking systems, and property management.

  • Lead Administration Team Meetings and Attend quarterly Branch Hui.

  • Ensuring that the team provides responsive and high-quality service to everyone who interacts with CCS Disability Action.

  • Overseeing the maintenance of our office spaces and managing building contractors.

  • Understanding and supporting health and safety policies, and systems and participating in initiatives.

  • Playing an active role in fleet management, property upkeep, and coordinating office supplies.

About you:

  • 5+ years of job experience in an administrative role.

  • Proven experience supervising, managing or leading a team.

  • A friendly, professional approach with excellent communication skills.

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage both your own workload and that of your team.

  • The aptitude to build positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including staff, contractors, and members of the public.

  • Experience in a service delivery organisation, ideally within the disability sector, is not required, but highly regarded.

  • Reliable transportation to and from work each day.

If you are looking for a role that combines leadership and hands-on administration, where your contribution will make a real difference to the smooth running of a community-focused organisation, we’d love to hear from you!
