We are looking for Community Support Workers to work with disabled people and their families we support in Whangārei, both in the community and at our Children’s Respite House Te Whare Taonga. The support that you will be required to provide will vary. Some of the work will be physical.

About you:

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • A passion for enabling others to lead good lives.

  • Flexibility in the hours you can work.

  • A clean full driver’s license.

  • A minimum of 1 years’ experience working alongside Children and Youth would be an advantage for our respite service.

  • Experience providing one to one support in the community is preferred but not essential.

  • A Health Care Assistant Qualification or a Level 2 or 3 equivalent or experience working in the Disability sector, or a willingness to undertake training.
