Community hui: have your say

Our community consultation hui are now complete. If you’re interested in more information about the governance changes you can read about the proposed structure by clicking here. We are also running information sessions about the proposal. You can find details by clicking here.

CCS Disability Action are holding a series of workshops across the country. These will give you a chance to learn about the governance review and to respond to the proposed options.

Three people walking in hills

You are invited to share your thoughts on how governance can best support CCS Disability Action to serve disabled people and their families now, and into the future.

All disabled people, their families and whānau hauā are welcome to attend.

We will discuss:

  • What is the best way to create a strong, empowered voice for disabled people to influence our work?

  • How can we simplify our governance arrangements to reduce time and money while governing effectively?

  • What would be the best arrangements to oversee our assets and investments?

  • What is a fit-for-purpose legal structure?

You can find an event near you below. There will also be an online event, for those people who cannot make it to our community hui. Details will be confirmed once the community workshops are complete.
