This role offers you an exciting opportunity to become involved in organisation making a difference in the community. The Senior Service Coordinator is responsible for the overall co-ordination of services provided by CCS Disability Action within the Waikato region.
The position is a leadership role which involves relationship building, support and administration along with leading service staff who provide support services, information, and advocacy for disabled people and their family/whānau.

About the role:
Lead and coordinate high quality services that are creative, flexible, and responsive to the needs of disabled people and their families/whānau.
Lead and coordinate delivery of contracted services which meet the funders’ specifications.
Provide effective leadership and supervision to staff.
Drive quality improvement activities and contributes to regional planning.
Recognise safety issues for children, young people and vulnerable adults, respond to these and refer to appropriate supports/organisations (internal and external).

About you:
Understanding of the disability sector and ability to relate to disabled people in a positive affirming manner.
Relevant degree or diploma in social services or human services or acceptable equivalent qualification and/or work experience.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Experience working in a social services agency, and in particular working with disabled children/youth/adults, their families/whānau and significant others.
A driver’s license or access to transport.
