Comments and feedback from the first My Business Starter course
As Co-Facilitators of the My Business Starter programme, “That Blind Woman” Julie Woods, Selwyn Cook and Sandra Budd are delighted to be working with CCS Disability Action to provide support for disabled people who dream of setting up their own businesses. The first set of participants are an awesome group and are nearing the completion of this 10-week programme, when they will decide whether to “do it or drop it”.
You can read some of the comments from facilitators and participants about the first course below:
“Seeing the engagement and enthusiasm from the participants is exciting. There is an obvious commitment to the programme, and the enthusiasm to not just learn but contribute is inspiring us all. It is a real privilege for me to be part of My Business Starter and I, too, am learning so much. They really are a diverse and super great group of participants.” – Selwyn Cook, Co-Facilitator.
“We are loving seeing the growth in everyone as they progress through the programme and their coaching sessions. I leave every meeting buzzing from the energy and ideas in the room. We are delighted that we can provide support to help them develop their ambition.” – Sandra Budd, Co-Facilitator.
“I wish this programme was around when I started my business. It is so helpful.” – Esther Ure, ally/supporter.
"From the very first session, I knew there was a special connection in the group. The sense of community, encouragement and brilliant business knowledge that the facilitators share is amazing. I feel so fortunate to be experiencing this, and my confidence and visions are naturally being cultivated through all this support. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to make their dreams come alive with a community of incredible people." Kirstie Ussher, participant.
We look forward to offering our second programme, commencing 2 May.
