Robert Scott
I’m a long-time resident of Whanganui and became involved with CCS Disability Action in 2017 when I joined the governance team as Chair of the Whanganui Local Committee, following the re-establishment of the branch.
Over the years, I have been actively involved in a range of community-based organisations, including serving as a church pastor, working with the City Mission both in the shop and on the Board, and being a member of Rotary. My professional background is varied - I’ve worked in real estate, run a coffee cart, and owned a cabinet-making business.
I’m married to Linda, and we have two adult children and two wonderful grandchildren. In my spare time, I enjoy outdoor activities like sailing, skiing, tennis, and camping.
